Job summary

A health services provider is seeking a Chamber Supervisor to oversee operations of hyperbaric chambers in the UK. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, supervising treatments, and maintaining compliance with operating procedures. Required qualifications include an LST qualification or military equivalent and experience with hyperbaric chambers. This role involves on-call responsibilities and mandatory training. Qualifications

  • Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Disclosure is required.
  • UK Service Clearance must be obtained.
  • Experience in operating or supervising hyperbaric chambers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of current legislation regarding Diving at Work Regulations.
  • Awareness of working with high-pressure air systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise operations during HBOT, ensuring compliance with procedures.
  • Monitor chamber equipment and respond to emergencies.
  • Assist the team with patient care during treatment.
  • Maintain accurate records and logs for chamber activity.
  • Attend training and complete NHS mandatory training.

Skills

Effective documentation and record keeping
Diving Supervisor experience
Diving related experience/knowledge
Theoretical and operational understanding of the physics and physiology of diving
Core understanding of compliance with safety and operating procedures
Willingness to undergo education and training for Chamber Operator Accreditation
Willingness to undertake Basic Life Support Skills training

Education
