Job summary

Greencore is seeking a Department Trainer to join the hygiene team at our site. You will develop colleagues, deliver hygiene training, and ensure high standards of food safety through practical coaching on the factory floor.

You will work with stakeholders to keep procedures up to date, maintain records and support competency through audits and reviews. A strong background in hygiene and training is required.

Qualifications

• Numeracy and Literacy at Level 2 required.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Email and PowerPoint.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Hygiene practices knowledge and training ability.
• Training the Trainer qualification or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver hygiene training and buddying for new starters.
• Develop SOPs, refresher training and assessments.
• Conduct 1-to-1 training on the factory floor to ensure food safety.
• Maintain training records, skills matrices and progress.
• Audit training standards and verify compliance.
