Job summary

Samworth Brothers is seeking a Hygiene Steward to join our hygiene and operations teams. You will support cleaning activities, maintain high hygiene standards, and contribute to the production of safe, quality food products.

Key traits include a collaborative approach, ability to follow procedures, and a positive attitude. HACCP training is advantageous, and you will work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in operational areas to the highest standards

• Support deep cleaning and scheduled hygiene activities
• Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately
• Report hygiene concerns or equipment issues promptly

About The Role

At Samworth Brothers, hygiene is fundamental to everything we do. As a Hygiene Steward, you will play a vital role in helping maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment. Working as part of the hygiene and operational teams, you will support cleaning activities, ensure hygiene standards are maintained and contribute to the production of safe, high-quality food products.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure operational areas are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness
• Follow hygiene, food safety and health and safety procedures at all times
• Safely use cleaning equipment, tools and chemicals in accordance with site requirements
• Support deep cleaning and scheduled hygiene activities
• Complete cleaning records and documentation accurately
• Report hygiene concerns, equipment issues or damage promptly
