Job summary

Rentokil Initial plc is seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our Croydon-based team, servicing South West & South East London and surrounding areas. No prior experience required as full training is provided, with a 40-hour week and potential overtime with higher pay.

You will drive a company vehicle, deliver biohazard cleaning and infection control services, and build strong client relationships through professional, responsive service.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence held for more than two years, with no more than six penalty points.
• You must be self-motivated, reliable and proactive.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility with working patterns to support business needs.
• Be capable of working at heights and in confined spaces.
• You may be required to pass a DBS check depending on the role you have applied for.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene cleaning services across varied environments including biohazard cleaning and infection control.
• Work on reactive assignments and on-call rota; respond to customer needs promptly.
• Offer expert advice to customers and maintain professional image at all times.
• Deliver high-quality service in line with safety and training protocols.

We are currently seeking a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our dedicated team at the Croydon branch, covering South West London, South East London and the surrounding areas. No prior experience required as we provide comprehensive, industry-leading training. The Hygiene Technician Role

In this role, you will provide a range of hygiene cleaning services across various environments and premises. These services include biohazard cleaning, flood water damage clean up, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removals, trauma and crime scene cleaning, along with some more technical cleaning which may include factory cleans, cleaning at high level and silo cleaning, with full training provided. Key responsibilities include:

• Working reactively in a fast-paced business where work can change from week to week
• Working as part of an on-call rota (paid at enhanced rate)
• Offering valuable advice to customers when required
• Providing exceptional customer service and upholding a professional image at all times

Requirements:
