Tennial Personnel are seeking two experienced and motivated Night Shift Hygiene Operative Team Leaders to join our clients team. You will be responsible for leading a small team of hygiene operatives to ensure all cleaning activities are completed to the highest standards, supporting food safety, and maintaining compliance with out clients company and customer requirements. Duties will include carrying out cleaning tasks as outlined in Cleaning Instruction Cards and work schedules. You will have the ability to lead and support a team of hygiene operatives. Adhere to all Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures. Perform daily, weekly, and periodic cleaning of machinery and production areas.

Dismantle equipment for thorough deep cleaning. Safely handle and work with cleaning chemicals. Complete and maintain all required documentation and sign-offs. Provide cover for holidays and absences.

Work closely with the Hygiene Manager and Hygiene Supervisor to drive continuous improvement and maintain high factory standards.

You will be self‑motivated and reliable. A strong team player with a proactive attitude, excellent attention to detail and a conscientious approach. Proven track record of reliability and responsibility.

Previous experience leading a small team is preferred, though transferable leadership skills will be considered.

Shift pattern includes 6:00 pm to 3:00 am, working four days on and four days off which will include weekends. Our client is located outside Colchester so transport will be required. This is a temporary to permanent position upon completion of probation period (8 weeks working).
