Introduction

We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Hygiene Operative to join our team at a busy Italian Bakery in Iver. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Location & Hours

Location: Iver, Buckinghamshire
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Shifts: Sunday to Friday 7am to 3pm (8‑hour shifts with a 30‑minute unpaid break)

Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising industrial machinery and production areas to ensure compliance with hygiene and safety regulations.
• Performing heavy‑lifting tasks, including moving and cleaning heavy industrial machinery as part of the cleaning process.
• Ensuring all areas of the bakery are spotless and ready for daily operations.
• Following cleaning schedules and procedures while adhering to health and safety standards.
• Reporting any maintenance or safety concerns to management promptly.

Requirements

• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy machinery safely and efficiently.
• Previous experience in a hygiene or industrial cleaning role is desirable but not required – training will be provided.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible to work Sunday to Friday to meet operational needs.
