Imperial Recruitment Group are supporting a leading UK manufacturer in Leeming Bar with the appointment of an experienced Hygiene Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, food safety and cleanliness across the site.

You will lead the hygiene function, develop robust cleaning schedules, oversee audits and drive continuous improvement, working closely with Production, Technical, Engineering, Quality and Health & Safety teams to ensure

Qualifications

• Previous hygiene management or senior supervisory experience within food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRCGS, GMP and COSHH.
• Experience developing cleaning schedules and hygiene procedures.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Proactive approach to continuous improvement.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop the Hygiene Team with clear standards and accountability.
• Develop and maintain cleaning and hygiene schedules across the facility.
• Ensure production areas meet hygiene standards and are audit-ready.
• Oversee cleaning activities and ensure safe, effective execution.
• Drive hygiene compliance with food safety legislation and customer standards.
• Monitor environmental monitoring results and investigate trends.
• Manage hygiene procedures, SOPs, risk assessments and documentation.
• Oversee supplier relationships for hygiene chemicals, pest control and consumables.
• Support internal and external audits and drive continuous improvement.
