Hygiene Manager - Sustainable Food Manufacturing

Surrey, KT9 | £55,000-£65,000 DOE | Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Join a pioneering business at the forefront of sustainable food manufacturing, the UK's leading supplier of responsibly sourced high care products to major retailers and foodservice partners - and they're looking for a Hygiene Manager to help maintain the highest hygiene and food safety standards across their modern production facilities.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a dedicated hygiene team, driving excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee hygiene systems, audits, and compliance in line with customer standards.
  • Manage hygiene budgets and resources efficiently, ensuring full regulatory and safety compliance.
  • Collaborate across technical and operations teams to support food safety culture and audit readiness.
  • Champion sustainable and safe production practices in a high-care, fast-paced FMCG environment.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Hygiene Manager or Supervisor within food manufacturing (ideally high-care).
  • Strong knowledge of hygiene systems, HACCP, and food safety (Level 3 minimum).
  • Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.
  • A passion for sustainability, innovation, and high standards.
