Morrisons in Bradford is hiring a Department Manager - Hygiene to lead a team of Hygiene Operatives and ensure top-tier food safety across all departments.

You will coach a large team, implement hygienic practices, and manage pest control while maintaining cost-effective staffing and paperwork workflows. This role emphasizes leadership, HACCP, and BRC knowledge in a high-risk environment.

Formación

• An intermediate food safety qualification and have some training on HACCP along with COSHH and BRC knowledge
• Strong people management and leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and engaging a team (ideally large, 24/7 shifts)
• Understanding of working in a high risk environment
• Understanding of cost models and budgetary control and pest control management
• Strong leadership and coaching skills to engage, motivate and develop large teams with varying skill sets

Responsabilidades

• Develop your team through a coaching leadership style
• Oversee hygienic practices across all departments, manage pest control and drive housekeeping improvements across the site
• Manage department paperwork for cleaning schedules and labour costs to allocate duties
• Ensure food safety and hygiene standards comply with BRC and Morrisons standards
