Job summary

Randstad CPE is seeking a hands-on Electrical/Controls Engineer to plan hydrogen production tied to customer demand, support maintenance and OT infrastructure, and ensure compliance with safety standards.

You will coordinate electrical assets, troubleshoot PLC/SCADA, and produce RAMS, permits, and procedures. Strong knowledge of DSEAR/ATEX and a willingness to advance appointed-person status are desirable.

Qualifications

• HNC or degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Controls or Process Engineering.
• Electrical qualification with industrial systems experience (up to 11kV desirable).
• Appointed Person/Senior Appointed Person status, or willingness to work towards.
• ATEX and Functional Safety qualifications are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan hydrogen production in line with customer demand and coordinate logistics.
• Support planned and reactive maintenance and maintain RAMS and permits to work.
• Configure, maintain and troubleshoot PLCs; support OT infrastructure.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions to ensure safety and compliance.
• Ensure hydrogen product quality meets specification and assist with procurement of maintenance materials.
