Job summary

Gemini Manpower Solutions is seeking a Mechanical fitter/Welder for a hydro project in Scotland. You must have a proven track record on industrial projects and TIG welding certs can be provided for TIG welding tasks. A CSCS card or equivalent is required, with confined space training as an advantage. Accommodation is provided for travelling operatives, and 50 hours per week are typical, with potential night shifts at higher rates.

Qualifications

• Must have proven track record as Mechanical fitter/Welder on industrial projects.
• Welder certs to be provided for TIG welding.
• CSCS card or equal.
• Confined space training(medium risk) an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Operate as mechanical fitter and welder on hydro project in Scotland.
• Perform TIG welding where required and ensure weld quality.
• Follow safety protocols and site procedures.
• Accommodation provided for travelling operatives; shift patterns may include nights.
