Hydraulic Engineer / Technician

Location: Midlands Salary: Competitive + Benefits

West/East

The Role:
  • Design and develop bespoke hydraulic systems for mobile and industrial applications
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic faults, both in the workshop and on-site
  • Assemble, test, and commission hydraulic circuits, pumps, and control systems
  • Read and interpret hydraulic schematics and technical drawings
  • Work closely with internal teams to deliver tailored technical solutions
  • Ensure all projects meet safety, quality, and performance standards
The Candidate:
  • Proven experience working with hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and manifolds
  • Strong fault‑finding and diagnostic skills across various hydraulic applications
  • Ability to design and modify hydraulic circuits and schematics
  • Relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or equivalent)
