Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Hydraulic Engineer in the UK to help deliver essential water and wastewater infrastructure for major utilities. You’ll work across the full project lifecycle—from feasibility to construction—contributing to pipelines, treatment facilities, pumping stations, CSOs and reservoirs.

You’ll bring UK water industry experience, strong hydraulic design knowledge, and skills in modelling (HADES/WinHydro/SWMM).

Qualifications

• Experience in the UK water industry and hydraulic design.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly and confidently.
• Chartered Engineer status or actively pursuing professional accreditation.

Responsibilities

• Deliver projects from feasibility through commissioning.
• Contribute to water/wastewater facilities, pumping stations, pipelines, CSOs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across projects.
• Provide hydraulic modelling analysis and design.
