Job summary

Wallace Hind Selection LTD is seeking a Hybrid Workshop/Field Service Engineer for a packaging machinery manufacturer serving the food industry. The role splits 50/50 between workshop pre-installation tasks in the UK office near Heathrow and field service at customer sites across the UK.

You must be a qualified Multi Skilled Electrical / Electronic Engineer with a full apprenticeship. Overtime, bonuses, and a company car are included; travel 1–2 nights per week and some weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Multi Skilled Electrical / Electronic Engineer with a full apprenticeship.
• Experience as a Workshop Engineer or Field Service Engineer is essential.
• Experience with packaging machinery and/or working in the food industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, repair and refurbish packaging machines on client sites across the UK.
• Pre-installation workshop tasks at the UK office near Heathrow.
• Occasional overnight travel 1–2 nights per week; some weekend work may be required.
