Job summary

Parkside is seeking a Web Merchandiser to join its Digital team on a 6–12 month fixed-term contract with potential to become permanent. The role focuses on managing the online product catalogue, merchandising category pages, and supporting promotional campaigns on a busy e-commerce site.

Hybrid work arrangement applies, with office and home days. Ideal candidates will have 1+ year of e-commerce/digital merchandising experience, knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud, basic HTML/CSS/SEO, and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year's experience in an e-commerce or digital merchandising or website content role.
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS and SEO.
• Experience using Google Analytics or similar analytics tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work across multiple teams.
• Proactive with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage online product catalogue with accurate descriptions, imagery, and metadata.
• Merchandise category pages to improve navigation and conversion.
• Create and schedule promotional banners, landing pages and seasonal campaigns.
• Support new product launches and website content updates.
• Monitor product performance and make merchandising recommendations based on analytics.
• Perform QA checks for content across desktop and mobile.
• Make basic HTML/CSS edits to improve page presentation.
• Apply SEO best practices and metadata optimization.
• Monitor website performance with analytics and identify improvement opportunities.
• Keep up-to-date with e-commerce trends and competitor activity.
