Job summary

10:10 Games in Warrington is seeking a Mid-Level VFX Artist to join our Art Team. You will craft environmental, character and gameplay effects using UE5, NIagara and industry tools, collaborating across design, animation and code.

You have shipped at least one game, and strong knowledge of Unreal, Maya, Photoshop and After Effects. We offer a hybrid 3/2 workstation culture with no crunch, 33 days holiday, private health, pension and a company bonus scheme.

Qualifications

• At least 1 shipping title as VFX Artist.
• Experience with environmental, character and gameplay effects.
• Strong knowledge of Unreal and Niagara.
• Proficiency with Maya, Photoshop and After Effects.
• Understanding of performance and memory budgets.

Responsibilities

• Work under direction of Art Director and leads to create VFX for environment, character and gameplay.
• Create effects from modelling/texture to implementation in UE5.
• Collaborate with Art/Design/Animation/Code to meet effect requirements.
• Ensure consistent visual style across project.
• Research options for effects and improve tools for VFX/Art teams.
• Resolve pipeline and technical issues and create effect templates.
• Plan and schedule own work.
