Job summary

Carrington Recruitment Solutions Ltd in Gatwick, Crawley, West Sussex seeks a VAT & PSA Assistant Manager to manage VAT compliance, reporting and quarterly VAT returns. Role is hybrid with 3 days in the office and the rest from home.

The ideal candidate has VAT and PAYE Settlement Agreement experience, ATT or CTA, and strong Excel skills (macros/VBA helpful). Strong communication is required for advisory work and audits.

Qualifications

• VAT and PAYE Settlement experience required.
• ATT/CTA certification preferred.
• Strong Excel skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain VAT and PAYE Settlement Agreement training materials.
• Support HMRC queries and senior accounting officer reviews.
• Act as a point of contact for audits and inquiries.
• Provide month-end support and escalate compliance issues.
• Maintain process documentation and tax governance controls.
• Coordinate with Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable and Workday teams.
