Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking a Cyber Security Penetration Testing Consultant to perform hands-on security testing of client web applications, APIs and infrastructure across the UK. The role operates in a hybrid model with in-office presence once a month and offers a competitive package dependent on experience.

You will work within a testing team, guided by senior testers and CHECK Team Leaders, delivering vulnerability findings and practical remediation guidance to clients.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of commercial penetration testing experience.
• Practitioner-level certifications such as CREST CRT, Cyber Scheme CSTM, or OSCP.
• Good knowledge of web and API vulnerabilities including OWASP Top 10.
• Understanding of networking and Windows/Linux security.
• Experience with Burp Suite, Nmap, and Metasploit.
• Strong ability to write clear, actionable reports.

Responsabilités

• Perform manual and tool-assisted testing of web applications, APIs and infrastructure.
• Identify, validate and safely exploit vulnerabilities within agreed rules of engagement.
• Explain business impact of attack paths and privilege escalation.
• Follow recognised methodologies (OWASP, PTES, CHECK/CREST).
• Prepare for engagements by confirming scope with the engagement lead.
• Write clear reports with evidence, risk ratings and remediation advice.
• Support client remediation and perform retests to confirm fixes.
