Job summary

WSP is recruiting in Guildford for a Transport Planner or Assistant Transport Planner, offering hybrid work between office and home. You will support transport projects across modes, developing strategies, policies, and business cases, with exposure to Net Zero and Future Mobility initiatives, and collaboration across multiple service lines.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport planning and design.
• Strong report writing and verbal communication.
• Experience working with Local Authority/Combined Authority clients.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to a variety of Transport Planning projects and proposals, delivering high-quality outputs.
• Work in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver large projects from concept to delivery.
• Support securing and delivering work for a diverse local client portfolio.
• Contribute to the financial performance of projects and the team.
• Support the four pillars: People, Clients & Growth, Operations, Expertise.
