Job summary

A leading consulting firm in the United Kingdom is seeking a Finance Officer to support a local council. This temporary role requires about 3 years of relevant financial experience, working with budget management and financial management systems. You will communicate complex information clearly and meet tight deadlines. The contract is anticipated to last 3 to 4 months with a pay rate of £17.79 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Approximately 3 years’ experience in a relevant financial position.
  • Knowledge of accounting concepts and principles.
  • Experience interpreting legislation to give advice.

Responsibilities

  • Completing Budget Management including Education and Public Health Services.
  • Support the Finance Manager and Senior Finance Officer.
  • Complete the budget cycle to agreed deadlines.
