Job summary

KandD Recruitment is seeking a Technical Sales & Tendering Engineer (KD1701) in Thame. You will prepare quotations and tenders for the electrical utilities sector, coordinating with engineering, operations and customer service teams to deliver accurate, competitive solutions.

The role requires experience in technical sales/tendering within electrical engineering, strong communication, and willingness to travel to UK sites as needed. Hybrid work arrangement offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales, tendering, or proposals in electrical/engineering.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Strong planning, organisation, and communication skills with CRM experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical quotations, proposals and tender submissions.
• Review customer specifications, engineering drawings and electrical schematics.
• Support the external sales team throughout the tender process.
• Respond to technical customer enquiries by phone, email and online portals.
• Coordinate with engineering, operations, logistics, finance and customer service teams.
• Complete pre-qualification questionnaires and tender documentation.
• Maintain CRM records and tender documentation.
• Support distributors and provide technical product guidance.
