Co-op is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead end-to-end delivery of complex technology initiatives in a hybrid Manchester-based role. You will work across infrastructure, platforms, data and security while partnering with technical teams and senior stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and high-quality outcomes.

The role offers a £59,000–£69,000 salary, supporting a flexible working policy and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering complex technical projects from initiation through to completion.
• Strong planning, coordination, risk management and stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work with technical teams delivering technology-focused change.
• Excellent communication with senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex technical projects across infrastructure, platforms, information security and wider technology areas.
• Develop and maintain project plans, ensuring delivery against agreed scope, timescales, budgets and quality measures.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies and governance throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with technical teams to coordinate delivery activities and remove barriers to progress.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders, sponsors and business leaders, providing clear and timely project updates.
• Prepare and deliver project reporting, presentations and communications tailored to different audiences.
• Support project governance activities, including stage gates, approvals and benefit realisation.
• Promote safe, secure and effective delivery practices across all projects.
