Job summary

Hastings Direct is seeking a Technical Product Owner to drive delivery of technology products within the CIO function. You will shape product direction with engineers, architects and stakeholders, prioritise outcomes and ensure solutions meet customer and business needs.

This hybrid role requires weekly office attendance at Bexhill or Leicester and proximity within 90 minutes. You will explore emerging technologies, automation and data-led opportunities to improve colleague and customer

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Owner.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders.
Interest in automation, data and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

Own and prioritise the product backlog aligning with value.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to define product strategy and delivery.
Lead evaluation and delivery of innovative technology solutions.
Partner with engineering, architecture, security and risk teams to deliver secure products.
Balance value, risk and cost and make trade-off decisions.
Measure success via adoption and realised benefits.
