Job summary

Cabot Learning Federation is seeking a proactive Systems Developer to join our central IT team. This hands-on role focuses on developing, maintaining and supporting integrations between our key information systems, helping data flow securely and efficiently across the federation.

You will work with HR platforms, academy MIS and Active Directory, developing bespoke applications, scripts and automation to streamline operations and reduce admin workload for staff and pupils across our academies.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT or Computing qualifications at Level 3 or above, or equivalent experience in a similar technical role.
• Experience working with information systems, databases and integrations, with a good understanding of how systems interact and share data.
• Working knowledge of APIs, SQL, Python, PowerShell and other technologies used to develop applications, scripts and automation solutions.
• An understanding of Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft Intune.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and support integrations between key information systems.
• Contribute to development of bespoke applications, scripts and automation processes.
• Investigate technical challenges using APIs, SQL, Python and PowerShell to implement practical solutions.
• Collaborate with IT Operations and Data teams to improve data flows and reporting.
