Job summary

Ciwmjobs in Cardiff is seeking a Sustainability Consultant to join our Cardiff-based team on a hybrid basis, with flexibility on office days. You will deliver sustainability assessments and advice across a varied project portfolio, supporting BREEAM certification, net-zero strategies, ESG and whole life carbon work.

The role offers a Cardiff-based position with hybrid working, training and professional development, and potential to progress toward chartership as you collaborate with architects,

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant field such as Sustainability, Environmental Science or Building Services.
• BREEAM Assessor qualification is ideal; BREEAM AP status is advantageous.
• Experience in sustainability consultancy and good UK regulatory knowledge.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to manage workload.

Responsibilities

• Carry out BREEAM assessments and support certification processes.
• Contribute to net-zero, ESG and whole life carbon assessments.
• Produce sustainability strategies, reports and technical documentation.
• Advise clients and design teams on sustainable design principles and compliance.
• Liaise with architects, engineers and other design team members.
• Keep up to date with sustainability legislation and industry best practice.
• Support business development and client relationships.
