Job summary

Butler Ross are recruiting a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) on behalf of our client in the marine sector. The role suits someone with experience as a Quality Engineer or transferable quality, manufacturing or inspection skills.

You will ensure all materials and components meet quality standards, support suppliers to develop their systems, and drive continuous improvement. Hybrid working and international travel are involved, with a salary of £35k–£42k depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in quality, manufacturing or engineering.
• Familiar with quality systems or methodologies such as PPAP, APQP, 5Y, 8S, 8D, ISO standards.
• Must be comfortable with international travel.

Responsibilities

• Supplier management and development including audits and performance reviews.
• Ensure supplier quality compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Monitor supplier quality metrics and address non-conformances.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, production and logistics teams.
• Maintain records and reports on audits and supplier quality activities.
