Job summary

Compass Fostering is seeking a knowledgeable Supervising Social Worker to join our team. Your office base will be Worcester and you will cover a caseload across West Midlands with hybrid working, combining office and home visits to carers.

We are looking for an SW with SWE registration, strong reflective practice, and the ability to manage a caseload of about 13 fostering families, providing wrap‑around support, on‑call cover, and ongoing development within a supportive organisation.

Qualifications

• Reflective and creative approach when working with foster carers and young people.
• Ability to manage a caseload of typically 13 fostering families and provide guidance.
• Commitment to wrap-around support and participating in out-of-hours on-call service.
• Demonstrated passion to contribute to growth and development of the fostering service.
