Job summary

Orchard Therapeutics plc. in London offers a hybrid role for an ELN/Data Specialist who will be the SME for our ELN platform across TD and R&D. You will configure, govern and improve the ELN, define standards and guide scientists and superusers in applying them.

You will manage ELN operations, build data repositories, write SQL queries, and collaborate with R&D, Quality and informatics to enable data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Biological Sciences, Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in a scientific laboratory environment with ELN administration.
• Understanding of process development and manufacturing.
• Experience configuring and customizing an ELN (Benchling preferable) or similar platform.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards including GxP, ALCOA+ and 21 CFR Part 11.

Responsibilities

• Own the continuous improvement of the ELN platform and prioritise enhancements.
• Capture requirements from R&D, quality and lab informatics stakeholders.
• Design and build ELN tools, modules and workflows.
• Support ELN integrations with other systems and dashboards.
• Develop data repositories to support data-driven scientific decision making.
• Write technical documentation and deliver ELN training.
