Job summary

You will partner with multiple teams to deliver data-driven insights, perform data profiling, and contribute to governance and continuous improvement while mentoring junior analysts.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Analyst, or hybrid Data and Business Analyst within financial services and Securitisation Technology.
• Strong securitisation and structured finance knowledge, with an understanding of asset classes, transaction lifecycles, and data flows.
• Advanced SQL and Excel skills, able to analyse, reconcile, and interpret large datasets.
• Experience translating business needs into data requirements and technology solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data quality and process improvement.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams.
• Experience coaching or mentoring colleagues and contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Securitisation, Treasury, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology teams to translate business challenges into data-driven solutions.
• Analyse complex securitisation data using SQL and Excel to identify trends, investigate issues, and generate actionable insights.
• Gather, document and validate business and data requirements to support technology change and regulatory initiatives.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, lineage, and quality analysis to improve data accuracy and governance.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Engineering teams through design, testing, and implementation activities.
• Produce reporting, management information, and analytical outputs to support decision-making and operational performance.
• Mentor junior analysts and promote best practices in data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
