Qualifications

• Experience to support system and spatial integration issues with other disciplines.
• Ability to undertake engineering decisions within delegated authority.

Responsibilities

• Produce Layout Drawings for Seamanship compartments.
• Update Windchill PLM with mature parts and systems data.
• Write and update Technical Equipment Specifications.
• Carry out technical analyses and prepare reports.
• Support HAZIDs and Safety Reviews.

Skills

Knowledge of naval and/or commercial ship seamanship systems

Design or operation of boat handling systems

Experience with 2D CAD software (AutoCAD)

Experience of 3D CAD (FORAN)

Education

Academic qualification in Engineering or related STEM subjects
