Maldon District Council is seeking a S106 and Monitoring Officer in Maldon. This full-time, permanent role operates with hybrid working and requires attendance at in-office duties to support the Planning Policy Team.

The role supports the Local Plan and broader infrastructure work within the Place, Planning & Growth directorate. You will handle Section 106 obligations, liaise with partners, draft updates, and provide monitoring information for the Infrastructure Funding Statement and AMR, while

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and manage accurate records of Section 106 agreements and associated planning obligations.
• Monitor the implementation of Section 106 obligations including triggers and payment points.
• Liaise with internal and external partners to ensure obligations are secured and delivered.
• Support negotiation and drafting of Section 106 agreements with monitoring information and updates.
• Issue invoices, monitor payments and reconcile receipts related to contributions.
• Prepare monitoring information and reports for officers, Members and external stakeholders.
• Assist with review and improvement of processes for management of developer contributions.
• Act as expert witness for planning appeals on housing land supply matters.
