Job summary

Cisco is seeking a Software Engineer to join the Rust development track in London. This hybrid role works with the Webex Real-time Media Engineering Group to deliver scalable features across multi-device platforms.

You will contribute to Linux-based development, microservices, and AI-enabled workflows, with mentorship and formal training to grow your skills in a collaborative, modern stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher degree in an analytical subject (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Maths, Physics).
• 3+ years of programming experience in Rust or C++ and willingness to learn new languages.
• Experience with Linux development.
• Experience with virtualization and containers (e.g. Docker).

Responsibilities

• Full Lifecycle Development: design, develop, test, and deliver new features in an agile team.
• DevOps & Microservices: help manage the operational side of a highly available microservice architecture.
