Job summary

bet365 Group is seeking an experienced software engineer to advance a real-time streaming platform across Golang, Kafka, Flink and cloud services. This full-time role focuses on building scalable, low-latency services and supporting a broad set of streaming and storage solutions in a hybrid UK environment.

You will work with Linux, contribute to automation and developer tooling, and collaborate across teams to deliver high-availability systems while meeting independent deadlines.

Qualifications

• Experience with real-time streaming platforms.
• Proven ability to deliver high-availability systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-based infrastructure and monitoring practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using Golang, Kafka, Flink, GCP, SQL and other technologies.
• Support applications on their Kafka journey from design to implementation.
• Maintain clean coding practices and documentation.
• Create automation and developer tooling.
• Identify technical areas for improvement and optimization.
• Contribute to streaming and storage solutions independently and with the team.
• Assist testing during project phases and perform quality assurance.
