Job summary

LA International is seeking a QA Engineer on a 6-month contract with extensions, hybrid working and London onsite 1-3 days per week.

You will design and execute tests, validate data across ETL, databases and reporting, and develop automation scripts while ensuring GDPR/SOX compliance. The role requires strong collaboration with product and development teams in an agile/CICD environment.

Qualifications

• Design and execute test cases across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Validate data, transactions, and regulatory requirements.
• Create and maintain automated tests and performance checks.
• Write SQL queries to validate data across sources.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases across functional, regression, and integration scenarios.
• Review test cases with BA/DEV and initiate execution.
• Validate calculations, transaction flows, compliance logic, and reporting.
• Perform performance and load testing using appropriate tools.
• Develop and maintain test automation scripts.
• Ensure GDPR/SOX compliance through targeted test scenarios and documentation.
• Log, track, and report defects; collaborate with stakeholders.
• Maintain documentation and internal knowledge base.
