Job summary

Siamo Recruitment is supporting a leading employer in the Normanton area in a Purchasing Administrator role. You will support supplier relationships, source products, analyse pricing opportunities and help deliver value across the business.

The role reports to the Purchasing Manager and offers hybrid working with office-based hours Mon-Fri 09:00–17:00, and a starting salary of £25,000.00. A strong focus on relationship-building and procurement projects will drive career development.

Qualifications

• Previous buying exposure would be advantageous.
• Numerically minded and attentive to detail.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting sourcing and supplier negotiations.
• Researching and sourcing products for customer requirements and tender opportunities.
• Analysing pricing proposals and presenting recommendations.
• Managing purchasing reports and product data.
• Monitoring competitor activity and market trends.
• Supporting supplier performance reviews and procurement projects.
• Managing cost price updates and commercial pricing information.
• Building strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
