Job summary

Investec is seeking a Prudential Reporting professional to support timely capital calculations and COREP disclosures across the UK and EU. You will work with Finance, Risk, Regulatory Reporting and Technology to translate complex regulatory requirements into robust reporting processes and controls.

The role emphasizes data validation, reconciliation, and tooling improvements, with a focus on accuracy, governance, and timely submissions.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant or equivalent professional qualification and regulatory reporting experience
• Knowledge of EBA and PRA frameworks including CRR3 and Basel 3.1
• Experience interpreting regulatory taxonomies, validation rules and COREP/Pillar 3 calculations
• Strong understanding of balance sheet and income statement in relation to regulatory capital
• Excellent analytical, data-manipulation and reconciliation skills
• Attention to detail with strong governance mindset
• Ability to communicate regulatory impact to stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Support monthly and quarterly prudential capital calculations (credit risk, large exposures, leverage, operational risk)
• Prepare, review and submit COREP returns within regulatory deadlines
• Support Pillar 3 disclosures preparation, review and reconciliation
• Interpret regulatory requirements into calculation methodologies and data requirements
• Produce monthly reporting packs and weekly analyses for stakeholders
• Perform data validation, reconciliations and issue investigations across source systems
• Collaborate with Finance, Risk, IT and Data to resolve data-quality issues
• Maintain procedures and documentation while seeking automation opportunities
