Job summary

Premier League Studios is seeking a Finance Assistant to support day-to-day financial operations across production finance, accounts payable and receivable, and general finance administration.

You will reconcile budgets, assist with financial reporting, process invoices, and help maintain ledgers, journals and cost centres. Hybrid UK-based role with cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a finance function.
• Familiarity with ERP accounting systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong IT skills, esp. Excel.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile production budgets to actual costs within Xytech and support budget variance analysis.
• Assist Production Managers with financial reporting and budget monitoring.
• Ensure costs are recorded and allocated to correct cost centres; process journals.
• Raise client invoices, create purchase orders, maintain cost centres and general ledger codes.
• Support ad hoc reporting and finance activities across the production function.
• Process supplier invoices with accurate coding and approvals; manage supplier onboarding.
• Maintain customer records and process sales invoices and credit notes; monitor aged debt and collections.
• Perform account reconciliations and assist with month-end processes; support continuous improvement of finance controls.
