Job summary

AVEVA seeks a Product Intelligence Data Scientist to transform raw usage signals into predictive insights. You’ll own analytical models linking product behavior to business outcomes across acquisition, activation, adoption, expansion and renewal.

You will partner with Product to define hypotheses and build predictive models that quantify adoption maturity, churn risk, and revenue impact, using tools like dbt, Airflow, and modern analytics platforms. Hybrid working in the UK is common.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data science or advanced analytics in a SaaS environment.
• Strong Python and SQL; experience with data modelling and pipeline tools.
• Deep expertise in predictive modelling, causal inference and experimentation.
• Experience with product telemetry and event-stream data at scale.
• Understanding SaaS lifecycle metrics (ARR, NRR, LTV, PQLs, activation funnels).
• Ability to translate statistical findings into product and commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product to define and validate hypotheses around feature adoption using experimentation methods.
• Translate complex product signals into lifecycle intelligence that drives prioritization.
• Build and own predictive models that quantify adoption maturity, churn risk, expansion propensity, and feature-market fit.
• Design behavioral segmentation and cohort frameworks.
• Develop causal and inferential analyses that connect product interactions to revenue outcomes.
• Create automated scoring systems for leads, health, and engagement.
• Communicate findings to senior leadership as clear, actionable narratives.
