Job summary

Insite US in Leatherhead is seeking a Private Client Tax Consultant to join its specialist tax team. You will handle a varied portfolio of private clients, including HNW individuals, trusts and estates, with a mix of compliance and advisory work.

You will work closely with senior team members, manage relationships, prepare personal tax returns, advise on CGT, IHT and trusts, and support tax planning and wider advisory projects. A proactive attitude and strong client communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK private client tax is essential.
• Exposure to trusts, estates, CGT and IHT is desirable.
• Experience in UK accountancy or tax practice is preferred.
• Strong communication and client relationship skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop relationships with private clients.
• Prepare and review personal tax returns.
• Advise on CGT, IHT, income tax and trusts.
• Support tax planning and wider advisory projects.
• Assist with trust and estate work.
• Deal with HMRC correspondence and enquiries.
• Research technical tax matters and keep up to date with legislation.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the wider tax team.
• Support junior members of the team where required.
