Job summary

Keoghs in Liverpool is seeking a Professional Indemnity Associate with 4+ years’ PQE to join our leading team. You will work closely with partners on high-value PI and construction disputes, and manage a portfolio of defendant claims as part of a supportive, forward-thinking practice.

The role offers hybrid working with one in-office day per week, and opportunities for client interaction, secondees, and professional development within a well-regarded department.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor or CILEX Lawyer
• Previous defendant insurance, professional indemnity and construction litigation experience

Responsibilities

• Reviewing documents and preparing reports
• Handling your own smaller matters
• Liaising with the Insured and Insurers
• Dealing with disclosure
• Reviewing evidence
• Conducting investigations
• Instructing Counsel/Experts
• Research
• Drafting generally
• Attending conferences and trials/ disciplinary hearings with Counsel
• Dealing with routine correspondence
• Court appointments
• Ensuring compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct and relevant Service Standards
• Taking part in seminars/ training for insurer clients
