Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience developing applications with PHP and Laravel.
• Experience with React frontend framework and modern JS.
• Experience with MySQL relational databases.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns and testing.
• Experience with Git-based version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve PHP and Laravel applications, APIs and supporting services.
• Build user-facing functionality and the backend systems that support it.
• Work with engineers, QA and stakeholders to translate requirements into reliable software.
• Develop integrations with external systems.
• Investigate issues and improve security, performance and reliability.
• Contribute to testing, code reviews, deployment and ongoing improvements.
• Take ownership of feature design for mid-level or senior scope as applicable.
