Job summary
TXP is seeking a Solution Architect for a part-time role, combining one day on-site in Birmingham with one day remote each week. The position focuses on architecting and delivering complex, Microsoft-based solutions, including Azure/AWS integration, API Management, and microservices in a consultancy context.
The ideal candidate will lead or support pre-sales, drive high-impact project delivery, and contribute to the Architecture Practice, while engaging with senior stakeholders to align
Qualifications
- Experience architecting and leading customer solutions with microservices and API management.
- Strong Azure/AWS integration knowledge and ability to explain software choices.
- Ability to discuss technical implementation details with development teams.
- Solid SDLC understanding and DevOps/pipeline experience.
- Experience delivering architecture designs and artefacts.
- Background in digital transformation and Microsoft-based services.
- Ability to read C# code to assist development and enforce architecture.
Responsibilities
- Assist with or lead pre-sales activities and project delivery.
- Contribute to internal Architecture Practice initiatives.
- Provide consultative guidance translating business needs into tech solutions.
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to peers and leadership.
