Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Part 1 Architectural Assistant for their London studio. You will work with experienced architects on multi-sector projects, contributing to design development, technical delivery and visualization while gaining valuable multidisciplinary exposure.

You will be involved from day one in conceptual design, documentation, and project coordination within a supportive studio environment, with hybrid working and structured professional development through AECOM University.

Qualifications

• BA (Hons) Degree in Architecture or equivalent (minimum 2:1).
• Proficiency in Revit and Rhino modelling.
• Competent in MS Word, Excel, Outlook; Photoshop advantageous.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.
• Strong organisational skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support senior team members on projects across sectors and RIBA stages.
• Contribute to design development, visualization, and technical delivery.
• Prepare conceptual design work and project presentations.
• Develop design proposals and feasibility studies.
• Produce drawings, diagrams and visuals to communicate ideas.
• Assist with site visits, surveys and coordination meetings.
• Collaborate with architects, interior designers and engineers.
