Job summary

T. Rowe Price is seeking a highly motivated quantitative analyst to join the Global Multi-Asset Research team.

This role focuses on investment research and portfolio design for longer-term horizons, blending portfolio objectives with independent research to develop innovative SAA capabilities. You will collaborate across Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset divisions, contribute to capital market assumptions, and help scale analytical capabilities across users and use cases.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a quantitative discipline (economics, quantitative finance, natural sciences or engineering).
• 3+ years of relevant investment research/quant work experience, ideally in a multi-asset role.
• Advanced proficiency in an interpreted language such as R.
• Basic proficiency in SQL and Git.
• AI native familiarity (Claude or equivalent).
• Experience with the Black-Litterman model and portfolio optimization concepts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct financial, quantitative, and statistical analyses, portfolio optimizations, risk and scenario analyses for multi-asset portfolios.
• Collaborate across Equity, Fixed Income, and Multi-Asset divisions to apply investment processes.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders in the investment process with thoroughness and clarity.
• Maintain knowledge of global investment trends and contribute to capital market assumptions.
• Help expand the library of analytical capabilities for scalable use.
