Job summary

Kimal is seeking a Product Development Engineer to develop and improve our Procedure Pack product range. You will translate design inputs into clear engineering requirements and documentation, support new product introductions, and ensure regulatory compliance from concept through manufacture.

You will collaborate with Product Management, Purchasing, Quality, Regulatory and Manufacturing to identify components, evaluate suppliers, and drive continuous improvement across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required with relevant discipline.
• Experience with design controls, verification and validation.
• Knowledge of MDR and ISO 13485 design control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Translate design inputs into engineering requirements and docs.
• Support new product introduction from concept to pre-launch.
• Evaluate components and suppliers against regulatory requirements.
• Drive product improvement and cost reduction.
• Maintain BOMs, drawings and data sheets for regulatory compliance.
• Support manufacturing feasibility and design for manufacture.
• Investigate manufacturing issues and field feedback for root cause analysis.
• Contribute to risk management and regulatory submissions.
• Collaborate with Product Management and external stakeholders.
