Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a skilled accounting professional to join the outsourcing team in Berkshire, managing a client portfolio focused on management accounts, VAT and bookkeeping for a varied UK and international client base.

The role offers hybrid working with a competitive salary dependent on experience, plus private medical and a pension. You will support junior team members and assist managers with complex client requirements, using Xero, Sage or QuickBooks.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a client portfolio and preparing management accounts.
• Proven bookkeeping experience with VAT handling.
• Proficient using Xero, Sage or QuickBooks in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts for a diverse client base.
• Prepare and review VAT returns for UK and international clients.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain clean ledgers.
• Handle bookkeeping tasks and ensure accurate financial records.
• Support junior team members and assist managers with complex client needs.
