Job summary

WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking a qualified Landscape Architect & Landscape Planner to manage landscape infrastructure and design projects. You will work collaboratively within the Landscape & Urban Design team across the UK and abroad. Responsibilities include technical preparation for projects, managing client relationships, and ensuring high-quality design outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree level qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Postgraduate diploma or Masters qualification in Landscape Architecture or recognised equivalent.
• Experience delivering Landscape and Visual Impact Appraisals and Assessments.
• Experience in the successful delivery of landscape and urban design projects desirable.
• Experience managing landscape design during the construction phase desirable.
• Excellent technical skills and proficiency in Autodesk or Bentley and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Fluent spoken English with excellent verbal, written, and graphic communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Being an integral part of a vibrant, ambitious, and friendly team.
• Independently managing smaller projects and supporting delivery of specific tasks within larger projects.
• Preparing technical information for landscape infrastructure and development.
• Creating design including general arrangement drawings and specifications.
• Providing tender and construction packages, and inspections.
• Supporting development of relationships with clients in public and private sectors.
• Preparing bids for multi-disciplinary projects.
• Managing project work to junior team members.
• Client-facing role providing design advice and attending workshops.
• Participating in internal multi-disciplinary working groups.
