Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking an IT Engineer at Springfields Fuels Ltd to maintain, develop, and support critical IT infrastructure. The role blends hands-on technical work with ensuring system availability, performance, and security across enterprise IT and industrial systems.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Cyber Security to deliver secure IT solutions and report to the Infrastructure Manager. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent in IT or CS.
• Experience in complex or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of Windows Server and AD administration.
• Experience with virtualization and networking.
• Understanding of cyber security principles and ISO standards.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and service management.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support and maintenance for servers, networks, storage, and end-user systems.
• Administer on-premise and cloud-based systems for availability and performance.
• Support Windows and Linux environments, AD, and enterprise apps.
• Manage patching, updates, and backups per security requirements.
• Support network infrastructure and firewall configurations with security in mind.
• Deliver second- and third-line IT support across site operations and functions.
• Document processes and configurations following ITIL practices.
• Contribute to IT improvement projects including migrations and cloud adoption.
• Ensure compliance with ONR, NIS Regulations, and Westinghouse security policies.
