leading-edge is seeking an experienced IT Business Analyst / Systems Designer to bridge business needs and technical solutions in a Birmingham hybrid role. You will analyse processes, define system requirements, and work with technical teams to design scalable solutions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with stakeholders, creating docs, and supporting testing and implementation across the SDLC, with agile practices encouraged. A Bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in IT, CS, Business or related field.
3+ years in business or systems analysis.
Strong knowledge of SDLC and requirements gathering.
Experience with Agile/Scrum preferred.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, Visio or similar tools.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyse, and document business and system requirements.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and identify improvements.
Analyse existing systems, processes, and workflows.
Create functional specifications, process maps, user stories, and system documentation.
Design IT solutions aligned with business objectives.
Work with developers, architects, project managers and users.
Support testing, UAT, and implementation activities.
Identify gaps, risks, dependencies, and opportunities for optimisation.
Assist with change management and post-implementation support.
