Job summary

Free-Work in London is seeking an enthusiastic iOS Developer to join a high-profile technology programme on a 12-month contract. This hands-on role focuses on building and maintaining native iOS apps using Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit in a collaborative, agile environment.

You'll work with product owners, designers and testers to deliver high-quality mobile solutions, write clean code, participate in code reviews, and support deployment and ongoing maintenance. Hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Commercial experience building native iOS apps.
• Proficiency in Swift and modern iOS frameworks (SwiftUI/UIKit).
• Experience consuming REST APIs and handling data in mobile apps.
• Familiarity with Git, Xcode and Apple development ecosystem.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and enhance native iOS applications using Swift.
• Build responsive UIs with SwiftUI and UIKit.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, testers and other developers to deliver features.
• Integrate with REST APIs and backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews.
• Support testing, bug fixes and performance optimisations.
• Ensure quality, security, accessibility, and usability standards is met.
• Assist with deployment, releases and ongoing support.
